ACTRESS | DIRECTOR | PODCAST HOST
AEA/SAG/SDC
This summer I began a working friendship with a wonderful studio in Denver, Colorado called Visionbox Studio. In 2010, Founding Artistic Director Jennifer McCray Rincon former and Co Founder actor Bill Pullman envisioned a safe space that would provide students and professional theatre artists with training rooted in graduate-level curriculum, taught by theatre professionals; and to integrate this training into the development of new intermedia performance work that engages audiences in the social and human issues of our time.
As of today, I have taken two classes this summer: Realism (with a focus on the work of Tennessee Williams and am currently in a Shakespeare intensive working on sonnets, scansion, monologues/soliloquies and scenes. I feel very honored to be working with such a talented and respected director and teacher. Jennifer is a force and I think every actor in the Denver area should take a course under her expertise. I know I am learning more in two weeks than I ever thought possible. You're never too old! Right? You can teach an old dog new tricks. Check out their website. You won't be disappointed.
